Sculpt is an interior architectural studio and workshop based in Birmingham, the city of innovation. Founded in 2016, we offer an alternative to the typical processes found in modern design.

We are here to make your vision a reality, and while that is taking shape through our collaborative approach to design we will help you decide what you need and what you don’t. Guided by our ingenuity, experience and creativity, we then bring sketches and ideas into the real world.
We find inspiration in the everyday, using classic techniques and new technologies to create spaces perfectly suited to modern lifestyles. From bricks and mortar to ever-evolving materials, we experiment with everything from our very own workshop, found in the heart of Birmingham’s creative quarter, Digbeth. We pride ourselves on this hands on approach to find what works best for you.
At Sculpt, the beauty is in the details, and we believe that every single stitch and screw should be refined. When your project nears completion, we’ll be there to ensure those important finishing touches are finessed with aftercare support for as long as you need it, offering practical solutions should even the smallest of problems arise.
Our commitment to design and the region extends to our involvement in the Birmingham Design Festival — an annual celebration of our rich industry of which our Creative Director is a founding member.
Internal Reconfiguration & Refurbishment
Hall Green Baptist Church has thoroughly appreciated the way in which Sculpt Design has worked with us. Listening to our needs, coming up with imaginative designs, taking care to limit costs yet still giving us a beautiful space, while also working to a tight deadline. It has been a pleasure to work with them.
Residential Refurbishment & Extension, South London
From the start we were impressed with Sculpt’s approach. They listened to our very vague descriptions of what we wanted to achieve and turned those quickly into workable designs. They dealt very effectively with our inability to make clear decisions, and our frequent ideas for fundamental changes to the layout of rooms, providing helpful visualisations of alternative options and pointing out their strengths and weaknesses – always relating those back to the understanding of our requirements. In the end, the design we implemented was very close to their initial proposal.
