Birchin Lane, and this part of the City of London in general, was once home to numerous small trades and fabric suppliers. We developed a scheme which paid homage to this history with high quality materials, fabric encased in glass and a bespoke artwork.
Working with a local blacksmith, the aluminium wall panels were developed to represent the crafts once home in this street. Each panel was hand crafted then anodised with a champagne gold finish.
We also worked with Bill Amberg Studio to produce the hand stitched leather details, further connecting with the historic cloth traders of the area.
